Mamadou combines 20+ years of experience in Global Finance and Technology. Prior to founding Ubuntu Tribe, Mamadou was Managing Director with General Electric Group (GE) in charge of investments and project finance after leading investments in Telecoms Media Technologies Africa Department for International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank Group). He started his career in Paris (France with KPMG auditing leading global Finance Institutions (Banks & Insurance) and subsequently joined BNP-Paribas-Fortis Group Investment Banking Division engaging in Mergers & Acquisitions, Project Finance and Government Advisory.  His passion for social impact and transformation led him to be founder and Chairman of Africa 2.0 Foundation, as a hobby, an initiative-driven advocacy group present in 30+ countries gathering emerging leaders from Africa and the Diaspora www.africa2point0.org. Mamadou was ranked by Forbes Magazine as one of the top 10 most influential people in Africa. In 2020 Hackernoon magazine placed him among the top 30 most prominent people in Blockchain in the world.
